How do gender relations affect individual well-being and career prospects in higher education? Based on findings from empowerment and resilience research, attendees are invited to explore ways to overcome structural barriers. Additionally, individual possibilities for improving and maintaining (mental) well-being will be discussed.


Dr. med. Amma Yeboah is a psychodynamic supervisor and specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy, focusing on gender-sensitive psychiatric psychotherapeutic care. As a lecturer, she focuses on intersectional perspectives in medicine and psychotherapy. She studied human medicine at the Free University of Berlin, completed training as a Critical Whiteness and Empowerment Trainer at Phoenix e.V., received her doctorate from the Charité, University Medicine Berlin, and completed certification in Psychodynamic Supervision and Coaching at inscape international, Cologne.
