Family members of people with dementia often experience high levels of psychological and physical stress. They are involved in caring for a person who can no longer help themselves in many aspects. This demands a lot of time and energy. Our two-part seminar series, offered by the Alzheimer’s Society of Rhineland-Palatinate, aims to support caring relatives in their situation as much as possible, to understand dementia, and to offer assistance in dealing with those affected. The seminar series is intended for all members of JGU who have contact with people with dementia.
